Specialty Eye Care for the Whole Family

At Integrated Vision & Aesthetics, we are dedicated to providing next-level, compassionate eye and vision care to families in the Greenwood, SC. As a specialty practice, we don't just sell glasses. We recognize the need for services beyond routine care. Sometimes just buying new glasses is not the best option.

At Integrated Vision & Aesthetics in Greenwood, SC, we offer a full range of specialty contact lenses for patients who require advanced vision correction or relief from complex eye conditions. Our expertise includes scleral lenses for dry eye, keratoconus, corneal scarring, and severe astigmatism, which vault over the cornea to create a smooth, moisture-rich optical surface for clear, comfortable vision all day. We also fit corneal rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses that provide unparalleled optical precision for irregular corneas. For patients seeking a non-surgical alternative to LASIK or glasses, our Sight by Design™ Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) program uses overnight corneal reshaping lenses to deliver crisp, natural vision without daytime lenses. Each design is fully customized to your unique eye shape using advanced topography and imaging, ensuring optimal comfort, clarity, and eye health.

*Sight by Design™ is our personalized, non-surgical vision-shaping program that helps patients see clearly—day and night—without dependence on glasses or daytime contacts.

Using advanced, custom-designed contact lenses worn only while you sleep, Sight by Design reshapes the front surface of the eye to correct nearsightedness and astigmatism.

In the morning, the lenses are removed, leaving you with crisp, natural vision all day long!

Irregular Corneas

Keratoconus, eye injuries, corneal transplants, Lasik complications and other corneal conditions affect a significant portion of the population and these conditions cause vision loss that cannot be corrected with eyeglasses. Sadly, many patients are unaware of the newest lens technology that can fully restore their vision. We aim to find these patients and help them regain their visual function so they can work, drive and see their loved ones again.

What is Keratoconus?

Keratoconus is a progressive condition where the normally round, dome-shaped cornea becomes thin and begins to bulge outward into a cone shape. This irregular surface causes distorted or blurred vision, increased sensitivity to light and glare, and frequent changes in eyeglass prescriptions. It can affect one or both eyes and often begins in the teens or early adulthood.

How Scleral Lenses Can Help

Scleral contact lenses are custom-designed, large-diameter lenses that vault completely over the irregular cornea and rest gently on the white part of the eye (the sclera). This creates a smooth, tear-filled surface that neutralizes the distortion caused by keratoconus, restoring clear, comfortable vision.

Because they don’t touch the cornea, scleral lenses provide exceptional comfort, stable vision, and protection for sensitive or dry eyes—making them one of the most advanced and effective non-surgical options for keratoconus.

At Integrated Vision & Aesthetics, every Sight by Design lens is crafted using high-resolution corneal imaging and Dr. Bang’s extensive expertise in Scleral Lens Design and Corneal Rigid Gas Permeable Lenses (RGP)—delivering clarity that’s truly designed for you.
