Your lenses are the heart of your glasses. The right lenses don’t just help you see clearly—they help you see comfortably, safely, and beautifully.
Every lens may look the same, but what’s inside the lens makes a big difference.
Think of lenses like camera lenses. Two lenses can look identical, but one gives you a clear, crisp picture—and the other doesn’t.
Cheaper lenses can distort your vision, cause glare, or feel heavy.
High-quality lenses give you sharp focus, thin and light comfort, and long-lasting clarity.
Aspheric Design-Most basic lenses are shaped like a bowl—this can make your eyes look larger or smaller.
Aspheric lenses use a more advanced shape that flattens toward the edges, making your glasses thinner, lighter, and more natural-looking—especially for stronger prescriptions.
The “index” tells you how thin your lenses can be. Standard plastic is 1.50 and is suitable for mild prescriptions. The higher the index (ex. 1.67) the thinner and lighter your lenses are.
Without coating, light bounces off your lenses, causing glare.
AR Treatments let more light pass through, giving you clearer vision and reducing reflections from headlights, screens, and sunlight.
They also make your lenses easier to clean and look nearly invisible in photos. The quality of these coating can vary dramatically. Lower quality coatings will peel and scratch quickly.
When comparing prices, remember:
Many offer poor quality coatings, lens designs, and often don't accurately measure your lenses.
