Specialty Eye Care for the Whole Family

At Integrated Vision & Aesthetics, we are dedicated to providing next-level, compassionate eye and vision care to families in the Greenwood, SC. As a specialty practice, we don't just sell glasses. We recognize the need for services beyond routine care. Sometimes just buying new glasses is not the best option.

Sight by Design™ is our personalized, non-surgical vision-shaping program that helps patients see clearly—day and night—without dependence on glasses or daytime contacts.

Using advanced, custom-designed contact lenses worn only while you sleep, Sight by Design reshapes the front surface of the eye to correct nearsightedness and astigmatism.

In the morning, the lenses are removed, leaving you with crisp, natural vision all day long!

For Kids & Teens — Myopia Control & Freedom from Daytime Lenses

Sight by Design lenses are clinically proven to slow the progression of nearsightedness, helping protect long-term eye health and reducing future risks like retinal detachment or glaucoma.

For Adults — Freedom from Daytime Lenses

Wake up to clear, effortless vision. Our custom Ortho-K lenses deliver the clarity of LASIK—without the surgery, risks, or downtime—and are completely reversible.

Orthokeratology or Ortho-K in Greenwood, SC

NON-SURGICAL, OVERNIGHT VISION CORRECTION - Ortho-k (Orthokeratology) is a non-surgical vision correction technology that gives you the ability to see clearly without glasses and contacts, and without needing laser surgery.Ortho-k has been around since the 1960s, however, it took months to achieve good results as practitioners lacked modern computer-aided design. Today we have sophisticated wavefront topography which creates perfect retainers that can fully eliminate myopia in just a few days. Drive, work, play sports, go swimming... all without needed glasses or contacts. Since FDA approval in 2002, Ortho-k has steadily become a mainstream option for those wanting clear vision without surgery

Enjoy a lifetime of healthy, clear vision without needed glasses or contacts. Ortho-k has a higher satisfaction rate than glasses and contacts!

How Does Ortho K Work?

Ortho-k retainers are worn on the front of your eyes, floating on your thin tear layer. This liquid layer creates a gentle hydraulic force that shapes the corneal epithelium to the correct curvature for light rays to focus in your eyes. You only wear ortho-k retainers while you sleep. Then remove them in the morning and the effect lasts all day. So, instead of wearing glasses all day, every day for the rest of your life, you simply wear your vision retainers overnight. Then you're glasses-free to enjoy activities and perform your work freely.

This is not a slow, progressive vision therapy or strengthening of the muscles. Ortho-k takes just a few days to achieve the full effect. It’s completely safe and reversible. This gives patients the ability to see without glasses getting in the way of daily activities such as swimming, sports, fitness, work or just being able to enjoy wearing regular sunglasses.

Ortho-k is less than half the cost of laser surgery and saves you from buying new glasses year after year.

Myopia Control

MYOPIA CONTROL - Myopia is not just an inconvenience, it's an eye disease on a global scale. More children are wearing glasses than ever before in history and this trend is continuing at alarming rates. In 2021 the World Council of Optometry (WCO) passed a resolution that publicly declares support for myopia management as a basic standard of care. If left unchecked, myopia will result in massive amounts of eye disease and vision loss. This can be prevented but the key is to start early. Myopia develops mostly under the age of 25

Other Myopia Control Options For Growing Kids & Teens

  • Low Dose Atropine drops: Low-dose atropine eye drops are a safe, scientifically proven way to slow the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children. Used once daily, typically at bedtime, these gentle drops help reduce the eye’s tendency to elongate as a child grows — the main cause of worsening myopia. Unlike traditional stronger concentrations, low-dose formulations (usually 0.01–0.05%) minimize side effects such as light sensitivity or blurred near vision, while providing measurable long-term protection for the eyes. At Integrated Vision & Aesthetics, low-dose atropine therapy is often combined with orthokeratology lenses and lifestyle guidance as part of our Sight by Design™ Myopia Management Program — creating a customized plan to protect your child’s vision today and for years to come.

  • Dual-Focus Contact Lenses: Lenses such as Misight® lenses are soft, single-use contacts worn during the day that not only correct your child’s vision — they also help slow the progression of nearsightedness. Their unique dual-focus design gently guides how light focuses inside the eye, signaling it to slow its growth over time.

  • Dual-Focus Myopia Control Glasses: Dual-focus spectacle lenses, such as Stellest®, look and feel just like regular glasses but use advanced lens zones that gently guide how light focuses in the eye.

This “peripheral defocus” design helps slow the progression of nearsightedness in children while providing sharp, comfortable vision for everyday wear.

For children and teens, Sight by Design offers the most scientifically proven way to slow the progression of myopia (nearsightedness)—helping protect lifelong vision and reduce the risks of future eye disease.

For adults, it’s freedom from daytime lenses and a powerful alternative to laser surgery—completely reversible, precise, and uniquely tailored to your eyes.

At Integrated Vision & Aesthetics, every Sight by Design lens is crafted using high-resolution corneal imaging and Dr. Bang’s extensive expertise in orthokeratology and myopia management—delivering clarity that’s truly designed for you.
